Alper worked under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Nesrin Horzum on the fabrication of electrospun nanofiber for battery and sensor applications for his graduation project at Izmir Institute of Technology, which was also awarded by the Undergraduate Research Project Fellowship Program of TUBITAK. He also worked as an intern at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in the department of Prof. Katharina Landfester under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Crespy. During his undergraduate studies, he attended a lot of scientific conferences and workshops and gave four poster presentations in International Congress. He subsequently served as Head of the R&D Department at ALLCOMP LLC, Dnipro, Ukraine. He is currently working at Avient Corporation as an Account Manager.
