Tuba graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Department of Chemistry at Manisa Celal Bayar University, Turkey.  She received a M.Sc. degree in Biocomposite Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Horzum at Izmir Kâtip Celebi University. The topic of her thesis was “Development of Ink-Applicable Biocomposite Packaging Films”. She is now working in the R&D department of Budin Masterbatches & Budin Akarca Printing Inks.
