Mohamed Elhousseini Hilal received two bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Materials Science Engineering by the end of 2015, from Sultan Moulay Slimane University. He was selected as the only candidate for a funded research internship in İKÇÜ within the Mevlâna scholarship and then completed his master's degree under the supervision of Dr. Horzum. He was enrolled for a Ph.D. in the key state laboratory of organometallics, and catalysis, and ordered materials under Pr. Francis Verpoort, in Wuhan University of Technology. His research focuses on developing functional materials from metal-organic frameworks and metal oxide nanomaterials for electrochemical hydrogen production and metal-air batteries. Currently, he is an Associate Research Scientist at the Hong Kong Centre for Cerebro-cardiovascular Health Engineering (COCHE).
